Puki Vs. Brownie Bodies J

Here are my Puki Pipi and my Brownie Yoyo showing off their bodies!  I think they are a perfect match size wise.  Their differences are perfect for differentiating between them, like friends rather than sisters, yet be of the same species J  (in my case incorrigible pixies, LOL)

It was requested that I make a comparison.  There have been other comparisons, but I don’t recall the location of them all.  So here is my version J

Here you can see they are of the same hight and proportion (or if you can’t it’s because my Puki Pipi has a wig on, which might be distracting.  Their heads are of a different shape, Puki being wider, and Brownie being deeper, but basically the same J

Next I’m showing how Puki and Brownie compare with how their back bends and heads reach.

Here you can see how their heads look up

The puki’s head doesn’t reach nearly as far

Here you can see the range of leg motion.  The puki has a system that slightly makes the leg lay more controlled, however it is hard to slip the string through the “puzzle” of the upper leg, and takes much longer.  Give and take on that issue, I guess.  Brownie has more range to the joint.  Although Puki’s are supposedly double jointed, their upper knee joint never actually extends, though I think it does help the leg reach a little farther, it will not do a true double joint bend

Here I’m showing leg flexibility and how far down the head can look.  This is similar in both dolls.

And here I’m showing looking up.   This isn’t a good picture as the bodies are at an angle to each other, but concentrate on the angles individually and I think you can see the deeper flexibility of the Brownie.

This one is more for height, length, look, very similar

And finally, here is the difference in elbow bending:

One other note on differences is that the Puki’s hands and feet are attached via magnetic and the Brownie’s are attached via a mechanical system.  The mechanical system is of a tiny stick with a ball on the end in the body side of the joint, and a whole with an O ring in the hand/feet side of the joint.  It is not so easy to attach as magnets and I’m partial to the magnetic system.  However, when properly installed, the hands and feet do tend to stay on better.  But I’ve had problems with it on some joints.  Brownies also come with a plethora of hands to do all kinds of things, which is very cute J

In the end, I love both dolls and have 3 of each.  Well, actually, I have 2 puki’s and a puki hybred, as I received Pipi with a donator’s body and when I got her a new puki body, I received an Anime face, which is now the honorable Puki Le Pew J  Non-puki body, but we don’t tell him that J

I’m still working on him though.  Thank you Spampy for the adoreable outfit, and Tinybear for the awesome wig and tail J
